All the Gods (Tiny Moon Records, 2022) is the fourth album by Valentín Caamaño and
the first entirely recorded in quartet format, together with three of the most renowned
galician jazz musicians: Xosé Miguélez on tenor sax, Alfonso Calvo on double bass and
Miguel Cabana on drums.
Recorded and mixed in March 2022 at Savik Sound studios by José Trincado and
released on May 2022 through Galician label Tiny Moon Records.
This is surely galician guitarist and composer’s most personal work, written with his
musical references always in mind and giving melodies the leading role in his music. Since
its release, the album has been receiving recognition from the public and specialized
critics, such as magazines All About Jazz, Tomajazz, Jazz Ese Ruido, Caravan Jazz ou
B!Ritmos, or Universos Paralelos or Jazz Club de Nit radio programs.
