Making high resolution scans from my film

I have resumed working on a film scanning project that I started about 8 years ago. It is about creating high resolution scans of my 4x5 and 120 negatives. The problem is I don't have a film scanner anymore. But I do have a mirrorless digital camera. Film scanning with a digital camera is a great option but limited to the resolution of the camera being used.

Scanning film in sections and stitching them together has always been a great way to digitize film in high resolution but maintaining alignment can be complicated. When a process gets complicated, that's when errors and problems start to show up.

I have designed a way to address the issue of alignment by simplifying the process using a scanning plate and special film holders. Each film holder has been designed to partition the film format into the correct size sections and maintain perfect alignment for each capture. The process is simple and completely eliminates any guesswork, the results are perfect scans every time!

I'll be launching this on Kickstarter in the coming weeks. If you would like to know more stay tuned here or, send me your email on my contact page and I'll update you as things progress.
